Kilian Martin: A Skate Escalation
Skateboarding has come a LONG way since i was old enough to try my luck on a piece of wood with 4 wheels. Back then my hero was Rodney Mullen, a true pioneer of mixing freestyle with street skating and doing things that, as a kid, pre-girls, would make me drool. Well, now we have Kilian and a whole new generation who continue to carry the flaming torch that Rodney carried for years into a new domain. This guy skates old-skool, he rips, he creates & most importantly he’s doing it in a new-skool kinda way – In short, he is a GOD! If you are not into skating i suggest you still watch this video, as it is almost an art film – AWESOME!

An infant on a skateboard would show me up any day, so I’m not sure how valid my opinion is…but this dude is awesome. I’m not sure if he is the next Tony Hawk, but he def. has the potential.

@JP101, Tony Hawk is a sellout, and I hope this guy never goes down that road.
With that being said, I like old school skating as much as the next person, but this video could have really done without all the slow-mo bullshit and HORRIBLE music.

He is veryyy good, but not as good as what I have seen Rodney Mullen do. This guy seems very repetitive. Same variation of tricks on and off different things. He is still fantastic though, nice job.

ok well first at 1:05 his wheels touch… and at 1:23 his foot touches. some of the other manuals are pretty wild but everything else are just lame party tricks. basically anyone who considers this dude a god doesnt know much about skateboarding

not that impressive maybe in the late 80’s with all the spinning around, although the flip to the side was cool but this is all flashy stuff im more in the mullen and koston styles
