Without even watching this, you know it’s going to be better than the 2011 remake. So get settled as the next two minutes and 19 seconds are going to be a joy, especially if you’re a big fan of John Carpenter’s original movie. And let’s face it, everyone on earth is a fan. Even you.

Then opening of scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the most memorable and gripping in cinema history. It’s a bona fide classic that sets your pulse racing and transfixes your gaze the moment it starts. And now somebody made entirely of awesome has remade it shot for shot using claymation. Give him an Oscar! Made from clay of course.

Awwwww, bless. Look at this beautiful princess living in an enchanted land with all her enchanted, magical happy friends that share the love of fairies and dance to the tune of hope. So, naturally, off she goes to meet the other half, the one and only prince charming. Once there and her radiant beauty has cast him under her alluring spell and she does what any beautiful princess should do. She demands her fucking money. Tony Montana, you have competition.

This has all you want from an epic sci-fi short. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared and it has a cyborg (gynoid?) Rosa who has to save planet earth and fight for her survival. Hollywood has now come calling, so watch it before it gets ruined.

A group of teenagers break in to a swimming pool for some night-swimming and fun times but then… it all takes a turn for the weird. It’s time like this that you wish an angry, bearded Kurt Russell would turn up with a flamethrower and start laying waste. But he’s too busy being angry about prequels to show up here. Anime-kinda-tastic.

And to think, science-fiction told us the machine uprising would come from defense technology, but no, as ever reality is far more ordinary. You’re just un-boxing your new Central Station monitor, you’re excited, you got some new gear, then the technological singularity slaps you in the face. Next thing you know we’re being grown in pods while our mechanical overlords are harvesting our bioelectrical energy to snack on. Time to fight back.
