Everyone loves laughing babies but it’s about to take a turn for the surreal as this cute little baby laughs it’s ass off at film characters on the TV. Nothing wrong there you may ask, but when they begin to take on the baby’s manic laugh themselves and it becomes part of the movie then something is definitely not right in the state of Denmark. Creepy.

There is awesome, and then there is ‘AWESOME’, it pays to know the difference. The creators of Modified have described their latest offering as “your new favorite film, where Blade Runner, The Matrix and William Gibson’s novel Neuromancer collide. Bizarre.” – Meanwhile, commenters on b3ta have described it as, “like an early Depeche Mode video crossed with The Matrix starring someone who looks a bit like Derren Brown,” and “Made on a budget of $20 and worth EVERY penny.” – You know you want to watch it. You do. Trust me.

If it’s night time and you didn’t want to get much sleep tonight then have a little watch of Francisco Calabrese‘s documentary/horror short “Lovely Monster” which introduces Sophia, a beautiful 21-year-old girl who also happens to have “a rare and very dangerous condition.” Maybe you know someone with this condition. Maybe you have this condition. Just watch the film.

It’s a movie about a children’s toy from the 1980’s starring a former professional wrestler. What’s not to love? Sure the storyline will probably stink up theaters across the globe something fierce, but if you’re there for the storyline you deserve everything you get. Come on, admit it, secretly you can’t wait for ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ to come out. Just you, a bag of popcorn, the twin baldness of Bruce Willis and The Rock — it’s the guiltiest pleasure there is and you know you’re going to be down the cinema with the biggest, loudest screen there is so you can lose yourself in the mindless nonsense.

If you’ve never seen Kevin Smith’s movie “Chasing Amy” then shame on you and all your descendants. But don’t fear because you can redeem yourself by watching this scene, which is probably the best scene in the movie anyway. Black rage, y’all.

In space, no one can hear you scream….with frustration! This must be really hard for poor Ripley, Ash is on his last legs and you need to get some information from him before he becomes a jibbering, frothy mess. But it looks like he’s running a DOS operating system and has decided to go to his default mode of an old-skool adventure game. That’s only going to make Ripley so angry she’ll probably self-destruct the ship….*WAIT!?

If you thought Ryan Gosling was ten different types of intense in “Drive”, then forget about it. That’s peanuts, it looks like a day in Disney World compared to this epic story that tells of one man trying to navigate the murky underworld of fast food drive-thrus. A real human being, and a real hero, a real Big Mac.

If you are not the greatest fan of those furry midgets in Star Wars you’re gonna love this. One minute you’re cruising along in the forest of Endor on your speeder bike enjoying the breeze, then next thing you know you’ve impaled an ewok and your insurance rate is going through the roof. Christ. And worst of all, he’s not even dead so you have to do the decent thing and put him out of his misery. Thank god the whole ewok clan didn’t see. But wait. Uh-oh…

The Truth About Stanley is a story about friendship, loss, and the way in which we choose to deal with personal trauma. For Stanley, what he lacks in material possessions, he makes up for with his vivid imagination and an insatiable desire to tell stories.

The Truth About Stanley was released online with the aim of highlighting the issue of homelessness in the UK.

The whole thing was done on a shoestring budget, no-one got paid and they managed to get Radiohead and Mumford and Sons to let them use tracks on it for free because they liked it so much.
