Cue the military raining down on his ass to try and cover up the truth. But RL7 ain’t going out like that.

If you’re a fan of Tom Cruise movies, then you might want to look away now. All one of you (and maybe stay up all night and write a mission statement about why this is evil?). For the rest of us we can lol it up till the Thetans come home, as Rich Hall sums up Tom Cruise’s entire career in the movies in just a few succinct lines. Then, after pwning Mr Scientology’s achievements in a few quips he delivers an epic punchline. A master. Maybe he should start a new religion?

This must’ve taken a long time and some dedication to complete, so props for that. A collection of quotes from various movies are edited together so that everyone from Arnie to Elvis to Bruce Lee to Morpheus joins together to give their unwitting rendition of Lionel Richie’s “Hello”. And what a marvellous performance it is, a thing of rare and treasured beauty the likes of which the world has never seen. Kind of.

It’s Friday, a time for quiet reflection upon the human condition. That and guzzling beer until it comes out of your eyeballs. So in between all those tequila shots off naked bodies and all the laughing and joking, why not take some time to ponder this speech from Charlie Chaplin in “The Great Dictator”. Just when everyone looks like they’ve having fun and forgetting about their woes, hush them all up, gather them together and force them to listen to this and reflect upon the direction their lives are heading. Without even watching this, you know it’s going to be better than the 2011 remake. So get settled as the next two minutes and 19 seconds are going to be a joy, especially if you’re a big fan of John Carpenter’s original movie. And let’s face it, everyone on earth is a fan. Even you.

Did you find this on the DVD? Well, it doesn’t matter now because someone’s uploaded it to YouTube Dominic Monaghan pranks Elijah Wood by posing as a German interviewer and asks some silly questions. Those guys! Once you play a hobbit, from that moment onwards you’re part of a cult and the only way you can recognise a brother or sister is by doing the secret toe wiggle that’s taught by the king of the hobbits, Peter Jackson himself.

If you’ve got zombies and guns in a movie, it doesn’t matter what the story is, it’s going to entertain most people. It could be a romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock as a single mom who has to write an email to her friend, but as long as zombies come in after a few minutes and Sandra Bullock whips out a magnum and starts blowing undead skulls to smithereens everyone’ll be lapping it up. Oh yeah, back to this…it’s pretty awesome!

Then opening of scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the most memorable and gripping in cinema history. It’s a bona fide classic that sets your pulse racing and transfixes your gaze the moment it starts. And now somebody made entirely of awesome has remade it shot for shot using claymation. Give him an Oscar! Made from clay of course.

From watching this it looks like the new Sherlock Holmes movie is taking tips from the Carry On… films with innuendos coming as thick and fast as the action. Ahem. But this is a movie I’d like to see, it’d be hilarious, but it’s a bit upsetting finding out the mighty Sherlock Holmes is hung like a midget. Not so Lord Black-wood, who seems to have ‘risen’ from the dead.
