OK these aren’t real Buddhist monks but, you know, Ill Communication, Bodhisattva Vow and all that—so while they may not be down with the Eightfold Path and the Four Truths they can breakdance, and breakdance they did, to celebrate the life of Beastie Boy in the sky, Adam Yauch.

This year, as fans gathered at Littlefield Performance and Art Space in Brooklyn, they were treated to a group of breakdancers dressed as Buddhist monks busting some moves to the Beastie Boys’ hit “Ch-Check it Out.” Which is exactly what you should do.
