Humans want to be successful. That is a basic motive. That’s why we idolize the Kardashian’s funbags and Bieber’s lack of singing talent. To get today, and tomorrow’s, children to want to go into scientific fields, be it anything from psychology to theoretical physics, we must make idols for them to aspire to. Astronauts are still idols, to this day. But they are idols to littleï»¿ kids, not to the generation that is actually in school.
