John Oliver Talks Fifa After the Dramatic Arrests and Resignations
Last year when the World Cup was taking place in Brazil, John Oliver did a special show which discussed what a corrupt organisation it was, talking about how badly they treat the host nations and how they effectively enforce their own laws and generally act like dicks. Now, finally, they’ve got their comeuppance thanks to the FBI and US authorities.
With this in mind John Oliver looks at Fifa again, mining the story for satirical laughs, and resisting the urge to say “I told you so.”
