The Shining was creepy enough already, but filmmaker Richard Vezina decided to make it even creepier by imagining what it might be like if it was directed by David Lynch. In Blue Shining he playfully brings elements and Lynchian tropes into Kubrick’s disturbing horror film to create an uncanny, unsettling atmosphere.

He’s also peppered it with some easter eggs from other Lynch films for the eagle-eye fan to look out for.
