100 Years of Cinema in 100 Shots
Video editor Jacob T. Swinney journeys through a 100 years of cinema with a stunning supercut of what he thinks are some of the most memorable shots from the movies, starting in 1915 and going up until 2015. There are plenty here which are some of the most iconic shots in film history, while others are there for different reasons.
“Some shots pioneered a style or defined a genre,” notes Swinney, “while others tested the boundaries of censorship and filmgoer expectations. If anything, I want this video to be a reminder as to why we all love cinema so much.”
