“A Man Who Delivers” Offers A Glimpse Into The Life Of A London Cocaine Dealer
Based on a real interview and featuring actual text messages from clients, Jamie Jessett’s film follows a day in the life of a London coke dealer as he goes about running his errands. It gives an insight into this secret world that coexists next to the everyday, where couples hide their addictions from each other and anxious customers constantly ask when he’ll arrive.
Unable to show the dealer’s identity for obvious reasons, Jessett uses other storytelling techniques to convey the narrative—and they help create a sense of the impersonal that parallels this peripheral world.
