Weddings can be emotional events and while many feature a dance, there’s not many that feature a traditional Māori ritual. New Zealanders Benjamin and Aaliyah Armstrong got married recently and their best man was tasked with organising a traditional haka war cry, a performance associated with New Zealand’s Māori culture, and often performaned by their All Blacks rugby team before a match.

The result is a powerful moment as the guests enact the ceremonial dance, bringing the bride to tears who, along with her husband, can’t help but join in.
