Coming across like some kind of real-life Bodhis from Point Break the film Distance Between Dreams is about the winter of 2015 which was an historic year for big-wave surfing. Because it was an el niño-fueled winter in the pacific it created some of the hugest waves ever seen—fortunately surfer and director Ian Walsh was there to record it all.
