The roads of Hanoi are bustling with traffic, mostly scooters as riders make their way around the maze-like streets—but the person in this video is driving around them in a way that could only be described as insane. Recording their death-defying trip on a headcam the POV vid shows them zooming in and out of traffic like a crazed person.

It’s unnerving to watch and if you ever find yourself driving around Hanoi, make sure you drive nothing like this maniac.

YouTube science channel ‘Kurz Gesagt – In a Nutshell’ looks at the concept know as the Fermi Paradox, which basically states that if the universe is so damn old and so damn big with trillions of stars, why have we not met any aliens yet? Or found any sign of their existence? And what does it mean for our own future? This video takes a look at this and questions whether they’ve existed and been wiped out or whether our tech is just to primitive to communicate with them.

Neil Hilborn is a poet with obsessive compulsive disorder and his performance at a poerty event took the internet by storm and has racked up over 7 million views since it was posted late last year. It’s a heartbreaking performance about falling in love, and through repetition and theatrics, Hilborn paints a painful but beautiful image of being in a relationship while dealing with OCD.

So it seems full contact sword fighting is a thing, a thing that involves attacking fellow practitioners with steel swords and axes, which looks as dangerous as it does epic. The good news is that at least they wear full body armour and helmets to lessen those blows raining down on them, no doubt there’s still some injuries though.

There’s some meta YouTubing going on here, as YouTuber JoshPalerLin goes to the tattoo parlour to get himself four brand new tats. Tats that are the faces of four other YouTubers, namely Logan Paul, Jake Paul, RiceGum, and PewDiePie. They’re not subtle either, with two on his chest and then two more on his back. He’ll no doubt regret this decision later on in life.

And his mom certainly isn’t happy about them when he shows her either. But at least he got the views though, hey?

YouTube channel Internet Comment Etiquette explores the internet video subgenre that focuses on Russians dangling from buildings. No doubt you’ve come across one at some point or another, but what gives? What is that they find so appealing about precariously gripping onto the edge of really tall buildings and filming themselves?

Are they just really brave? Or really stupid? Or bored? This video will find out. Kind of.

Evolutionary biologist Jaap de Roode, who looks into how parasites and their hosts co-evolve, teamed up with TED-ED to create this video. It covers toxoplasmosis and some of the big questions around it that remain unanswered. Cases of the disease go back as far as ancient Egypt and it’s caused by a parasite that only reproduces in the intestines of cats.

De Roode postulates that it might be this disease that has made us love cats and treat them so well so it can survive.

Zombies might not actually exist…yet, but you never know when they might suddenly be created so the motto is: be prepared—and part of that preparation should be finding a suitable place where you and your loved ones can lock yourselves away from the zombie hordes and hole up while the world turns to ruin.
