The Horror Behind the Curtain
This makes for some horrifying viewing. And what goes on behind this curtain is truly nasty. It’s a curtain put up to hide the grim reality as the water turns red with blood through the mindless slaughter of dolphins — spinal cords are severed, metal rods are inserted and a slow and torturous death occurs. It’s more terrifying than any horror movie and something you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy.
Every year, hundreds of dolphins are killed in brutal hunts in the Cove, Taiji, Japan. Those not killed are sold and flown to marine parks around the world. Large amounts of money are paid for each dolphin and this profit finances the slaughter.
