It’s a football fan’s prerogative to watch other people playing a game and then comment that they could do so much better than that. And that doesn’t change one bit as you get older, wiser, and perhaps not quite so quick as you once were. It’s inevitable, we all get old, but even in your twilight years you still feel the impulsive need to run onto the pitch, take the ball and slam one into the back of the net with gusto.
