The Wachowski’s ‘Jupiter Ascending’ arrived at cinemas and was pretty much universally panned by critics for its incoherent and ludicrous plot, much to the disappointment of people expecting another original sci-fi in the style of their 90s hit The Matrix. So, don’t expect Honest Trailers to cut it any slack—and they don’t.
The Jurassic Period was great as the premise for a movie about resurrecting dead animals because it had lots of cool dinosaurs which made for an exciting story in Jurassic Park. But if you can resurrect DNA from that geologic period then it follows that any other geologic period in earth’s history would be ripe for plunging too.

In the video he edits down the film, compressing it from its two hour running time into just three minutes, keeping all the key narrative points and iconic scenes.

Even though he tries to remain kid-friendly, Palahniuk can’t help himself as his descriptions verge off from PG-rated stuff, as does his foul language.
Our phones are an integral part of most of our lives these days, so much so that we probably don’t ever take a step back and think about how we use them. Well filmmaker Paul Trillo has done that for us in a short film shot on his iPhone using the Cameo app. In the film he explores the phone’s lifecycle, from it’s beginning in a Chinese factory to its untimely end.
Cinema has had such an impact on popular culture that many of the phrases from some of Hollywood’s finest films have entered the common lexicon. Either that or you spend so much time quoting them among your friends that you develop a shorthand language where you can speak to each other just using quotes from your favorite film.
