Hysterical Literature: Session Three: Danielle
“Still Life With Woodpecker” by Tom Robbins doesn’t sound like the kind of book that would send you into rapture, unless it is read by this woman. The twist is she’s being distracted by someone under the table with a vibrator. The results are hysteria and lack of concentration and a wish that all book reading sessions (this is one of seven) could be like this. Might have paid more attention if they were.
Just in case you missed the other six episodes (can’t believe i did, where the hell have i been?), here they are for your literary review:
Hysterical Literature: Session One: Stoya: Who reads from “Necrophilia Variations” by Supervert.
Hysterical Literature: Session Two: Alicia: Who reads from “Leaves of Grass” by Walt Whitman.
Hysterical Literature: Session Four: Stormy: Who reads from “American Psycho” by Bret Easton Ellis.
Hysterical Literature: Session Five: Teresa: Who reads from “Sexing the Cherry” by Jeanette Winterson.
Hysterical Literature: Session Six: Solé: Who reads from “Beloved” by Toni Morrison.
Hysterical Literature: Session Seven: Amanda: Who reads from “A Clockwork Orange” by Anthony Burgess
