Dead Island 2 Trailer—Can It Match The First?
With the Dead Island games, it’s never really about the mediocre zombie games, it’s more about the awesome trailers. Remember the first one? It had the heart-wrenching music playing and started zooming out of a shot of a zombie girl child lying on the floor with chaos all around her, before the footage started going backwards, intercut with flashbacks, to show us the horrors that went down.
It was one of, or if not the, greatest video game trailers ever. So this second one’s got a lot to live up to—and knowing it was never going to deliver the same emotional punch, they’ve opted for humor instead. And it’s great fun as it follows a jogger with headphones in who’s seemingly unaware of the zombie carnage unfolding around him as he morphs into one of the undead himself. And is that, is that Jessie Pinkman’s voice I can hear at the end?
