Jesse Morris – “Sunday Morning Coming Down”
This guy is full of talent, just brimming with the stuff, here he is, not just covering a Johnny Cash number, but moving and sounding exactly like him as well. It could almost be a punk version of Mr. Cash reincarnate? Which makes it all the more galling that he took his own life at the tender age of 28. He was a local punk legend in San Fran and now he’s gone. Grim. But, as the cliche goes, his music lives on. RIP.
