Data-Documentary Shows the Fallen of World War II
Sometimes it’s hard to grasp numbers when they’re so large, like the number of fallen soldiers and civilians who died in World War II. But a new documentary by filmmaker Neil Halloran uses graphs to turn the stats into something much more tangible, following all the deaths over the six year war and showing why and when they happened comparing each country.
At the end Halloran puts the war in a historical perspective and states that, actually, we live in a much more peaceful time that we might think.
