Here’s Why ‘Arrival’ is a Great Response To Bad Movies
There are spoilers aplenty in this video from YouTube channel Nerdwriter which looks at the alien invasion movie Arrival starring Amy Adams. So if you haven’t seen it, you best look away now or else the film’s ending will be ruined. But for those who have seen it, Nerdwriter gives a great look at how the film takes the type of sci-fi that Hollywood spits out and flips it on its head.
Which means Arrival deals with some high-flying concepts—time, language, communication, memory—but it does so in a gripping and thought-provoking way.
