Writer and actor Will Stephen delivers a very funny TED Talk which details all you need to know to sound smart when giving such a talk. He starts by stating that he has absolutely nothing of any value to say, or anything particularly clever. But that doesn’t matter, because what he also reveals is that you don’t need anything to say, it’s more about how you say it.
So with that in mind, have a listen and you too can appear clever and intelligent. It’s all about getting the right inflections and authorative tone of voice.
