The Rubberbandits have taken on a tough subject for their latest single and music video, which is called ‘Sonny’. Written and sung by Blindboy Boatclub and Mr Chrome, they tackle the complex and emotional issue of suicide, looking past any ideas that it’s unique to one particular type of person or done for one reason.
It shows a variety of people from all kinds of backgrounds dancing on chairs while singing the line ‘Sonny, oh Sonny don’t go hanging yourself.’
