“Can I Get a Box?” – A Hilarious Song About Diners Asking for a Takeaway Box
Joy Brooker is a comedian who’s spent some time as a waitress. A waitress in an area where there’s a lot of rich white people and one of the things that rubbed off on her is the way the women talk. She says it’s all very “valley girl” and so she decided to make a video having some fun with their accents. One of the things they always ask is “Can I get a box?”
So that became her song, which features her mimicking the mannerisms and dialect of these women in a way that is both terrifying and hilarious.
