Instead it’s a dark look at the futile nature of war and the grim training that, in this case, marines must go through to turn them into killing machines. But that hasn’t stopped someone from turning the film, and R. Lee Ermey’s famous phrases, into a movie trailer that warms the heart.

It’s a pretty solid time-travel adventure with various different characters who exist in different timelines, it makes up some convincing-sounding science, and it has plenty of laughs thrown in too.
