Back in 2005 Spike Jonze directed the video for rapper Fatlip’s song ‘What’s Up Fatlip?’—it was already a pretty weird video featuring a sad clown rapping while standing around in LA. But now this couple, h3h3Productions, have added an extra layer of weirdness by making their own, frankly awesome, homage to that video.

They’re a band that, theoretically, don’t actually exist instead they consist of cartoon characters—but behind the fictional lineup of Gorillaz is Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett and a lot of musicians who have collaborated on the project.
