Not many people have ploughed their way through David Foster Wallace’s magnus opus Infinite Jest — at over 1000 pages long and with a complex narrative it takes some dedication. But many people have listened to or read his talk he gave to the 2005 graduating class of Kenyon College, where he treats them to some life advice and details the value of education. Here it is set to images to create an engrossing video.

If you’re drunk or stoned, then this is going to absolutely slay you. Even if you’re neither of those things then just watching this will make you feel like you’ve downed a few shots and smoked a fat one. It turns what can be a show that takes itself very seriously into something of sublime comedic fried gold. I bet even flesh-eating zombies couldn’t resist a quick smile.
OK, keep your eyes peeled because hidden deep inside this lolsome video about that redoes the narrative of Star Wars in modern day Stralia, are a helluva lot of references. Like, for instance, C3PO makes an appearance, as does R2-D2. So get your geek on and see if you can spot them all and if you do, then you win yourself some credentials of being a total Star Wars nerdling.
Oh dear, Dove really set themselves up for a flurry of parody videos with their new online marketing format – and this one is the dog’s(?) bollocks! You may think that your balls look like two wrinkly deflated skin sacks, but there is an inner beauty to them that makes them just amazing. Amazeballs if you like. So don’t be harsh on yourself or your testicles, you’ve been conditioned to think they look awful but as this video shows, how you see your balls is entirely different to how other people see them.
It you are going to make a video for a Daft Punk record then you have to venture into the realms of ‘wtf?’ in order to keep balance in the universe – And who better to enlist than Peter Serafinowicz to add order to chaos, oh, and while we’re at it, lets give him three heads. Nile Rodgers & Pharrell Williams add their talents (and vocals) to this rather fine remix of an already classic tune. Keep an eye on the three-headed Peter during the song as I think the head on the left has taken something without the others knowing. It’ll just keep growing on you.
Nick Bertke (aka Pogo) is back and soothing our soul with a dance mix of sounds, voices and music from Spongebob Squarepants – Proving that you can make something great even more awesome as we fall in love with Spongebob and his buddies all over again (whilst tapping our feet). I’ve never wanted a crabbie pattie more in my entire life.
This is not your average skateboard video, instead it’s an epic odyssey in the desert and it all adds up to a beautiful video with some stunning shots and locations. And that’s not even getting to the track, which is totally badass too and the video is perfectly paced for it. It’s an audiovisual voyage, but one that doesn’t involved abstract visuals.
What to do with your time when you have thin walls and your very noisy amorous neighbours bump uglies? This valiant gent came up with a genius idea and set himself the task of flipping 5 quarters into a cup before they’re done with the sexy time – If not, then self-inflicted taser time. I like his style.

You’re going to get a BIG surprise from this video, but not the kind your dirty little mind was hoping for, so sit back and enjoy these consenting adults stretching their lungs and putting their filth-laden thoughts into those of music. Yep, you read it right! If you’re going to say it, then say it like an x-rated musical, that way you might be able to get away with saying so much more.
Water gun fights are a serious business. At least, they are in this short film, but then we all know that guys never really grow out of that feeling of excitement you get when you’re a kid and you have an epic water fight with the whole neighborhood. This recreates that but on an epic, action movie scale.
