Here’s Liam Neeson on The Graham Norton Show, doing that seriously scary quote from his film “Taken” which he’s quite partial to leaving on people’s answering machines. But better than that, a fan of his asks him to record it as a voicemail greeting and being a decent chap, he obliges. Which just goes to show, not all celebs are assholes.
The Opposites are Dutch rap duo Willem de Bruijn (Willy) and Twan van Steenhoven (Big2). It follows their singles “Sleepless Nights” and “Hey DJ”, making it the third single from the new album of The Opposites. Dutch rap might not be as well known as its American counterpart, but if you’re a fan of melodic hip hop you’ll no doubt enjoy it. Even if you can’t understand the lyrics.
There’s a lot of opposition to the concept of gay people getting married, mainly from people who think the sky might fall on their heads, people who shouldn’t be allowed to marry and propagate the species themselves. But if you were looking for some more dumb reasons why gays shouldn’t get married, then look no further than the logic in this video.
You need to know nothing more than this is a Russian video. Knowing that will excuse the entire WTF that will be present in your mind throughout the whole of this experience. Not only is the music some form of grindcore trance but they’ve gone for a whole carnival vibe, plus girl-making-out-with-a-guy-in-a-bear-suit look. WIN!
You thought it was a funny movie about a bunch of guys waking up after an epic stag night to try and find their buddy, the groom, who they somehow lost. But you were wrong, very, very wrong. Instead it’s a pant-shitting horror about a weird guy with a beard who may just end up killing all his friends and half of Vegas too.
Barbie Girl is a pretty ear-offending track however you come at it, but if there was going to be a version that was at least tolerable, this is it. This guy shreds the crap out of it and turns it from a sickly Euro dance piece of abominable lameness into devil-horns-in-the-air rawk awesomeness. Try and listen to it without headbanging.
Jenna Marbles draws her life and it turns out to be pretty sad. We learn of her lost loves from school, and her childhood dreams of wanting to be a vet or play soccer and the pets she had when she was growing up and moving to LA and her break up and WAAAAAAAA! So yeah, it’s pretty sad but quite poignant too. If this wasn’t so depressing they should have kids do it at school.
It must be the most undesirable job in the world, being Chris Brown’s publicist. Dealing with assaults, more assaults, crazy behavior, insults, punches, and any other abuse he wants to level at you. Waking up each morning you’d be full of dread for what you’re about to hear. And that’s without even looking at his Twitter feed to see who he’s started a war with on there. Just a suggestion, but maybe he should suggest suicide to Chris as a good career move?
This makes for pretty grim viewing, but it’s Easter so you might as well suffer a little. It tells the story of a teenage girl who befriends a man on the internet (never a good idea) and then things go from bad to worse as she becomes a victim of sexual abuse. This in turn rips a giant hole in the fabric of her suburban family and will generally put a total downer on your day. Enjoy now.
This video is from Japanese variety show ‘Downtown’ and conclusively proves that everyone who lives there is from another planet/civilization/gene pool. After running a relay race the big fat losing team is sent off to a school gym to play a 24-hour game of tag. As if that wasn’t grueling enough they also get dealt out punishments, like having to have a team mate squat down on their face. All this in the name of entertainment and the internet wasn’t even around back then. Visionary.
Oh lolz. It’s the simple ideas that are always the best, and this one involves a guy on his phone describing the people around him and what they’re wearing and doing so they become increasingly uncomfortable and paranoid, turning to look at him incredulously, as he carries on the phone conversation. It’s surprising that no one turns around and punches him right there in the face.
