The South Korean Love Industry is Very Weird
South Korea is having a bit of a crisis when it comes to birth rates—they’re one of the lowest in the world. In this documentary Vice travels to the country to find out about the sex motels, the elderly prostitutes known as “Bacchus ladies”, Seoul’s red-light district, and erotic sculptures.
With South Koreans predicted to become extinct by 2750, they really need to procreate. Hopefully some of this will work.
