Vimeo user Lifeliketextube took the Spongebob Squarepants episode “The Great Snail Race” and turned it into “The Great Console Race”, naming different characters different consoles—Squidward is Sony, Spongebob is Microsoft, Patrick is Nintendo, and Sandy is PC—changing some of the dialogue and then using it to paint a picture of what the console market is like today.

And now the second instalment of the original trilogy gets the fanmade treatment.
In this creepy stop motion animated short film from Sam Barnett, a man named Bob is attacked by a bio-mechanical parasite, and has to fight for his life and his family against malicious forces that are much greater than himself. The fillmmaker notes how the short was inspired by cordyceps mushrooms which infect and control the minds of ants—and the end result is terrifying, with a fantastic ending.
