In case your memory has been zapped into non-existence by the Digital Age, YouTube are at hand to remind us all about, well, YouTube so that next year we’ll be back like ravenous beasts hungry for our digital snacks. Still, not as good as YouTube Rewind 2012, back when music was really music and all this was fields.

Well, this video should go a little way to restoring it as 20 cancer patients are given a unique makeover experience—after being invited along to a studio their hair and makeup are done in a rather extravagant manner, which they weren’t aware of because they had to keep their eyes closed. Then, when they opened their eyes a photographer captured their astonished and happy faces for posterity. Touching stuff.
Imagine a world without fail compilations? It wouldn’t be a world most of us would want to live in, where we we get our schadenfreude lolz? We’d have to go and laugh at people falling over in the street, which would not only be hard to source but also they might punch you in the face for revelling in their misery—much better to laugh at them through the safety and distance of the internet.

Usually when the vicar makes the remark about anyone present who knows why the couple shouldn’t be wed, there’s just silence, here a torrent of deadly nunchuck assassins come from nowhere, only to be taken down by a bridesmaid headbutt them to the floor, and that’s just the beginning before Batman and Iron Man show up to put their two cents in. The real reason you shouldn’t drink and drive is in case your “buddies” decide to pull the most epic of pranks and pretend that you haven’t just passed out drunk for a few hours but have been in a coma for ten years. It might seem like a mean thing to do until you find out this guy has five previous DUIs, so pretty much deserves anything he gets. Let’s hope this’ll learn him.

OK everybody, after the internet’s love-to-hate affair with Rebecca Black’s “Friday” she’s followed it up with another track, this time called… “Saturday”! Yup, must have taken her a while to come up with that name, but it’s here and you can listen to it above. No doubt this will be as equally popular/hated as Friday, but just think she’s got five more days of the week to get through yet :(

Yes, it seems that they are, at least the people in this video are, chances are if you walked out into the street right now and started talking to the first person you see, they might not be so awesome and will probably just want to get on with their day.
