This man is Moran Cerf and this is his story. And what a tale it is. It’s a true story about how to rob a bank. This guy made between $1,000-$10,000 a day hacking bank accounts. Then one day he put his consummate hacking skills aside and decided to instead physically break into the bank after he and his hacker friends were hired to rob a bank the old-fashioned way. Why not, huh? Cool story bra.
The master of fantasy Terry Gilliam made this all the way back in 1977 and it was his first film that wasn’t a Python movie. It’s got Michael Palin in as a bit of a dunce who goes off on a quest to kill an evil dragon after the death of his father. But, unlike a lot of fantasy movies, it doesn’t take itself seriously at all and instead is packed full of the megalulz. A perfect solution to have an excuse to slack off over the weekend.
When you’re a couple and you really love each other, then it’s OK to take things to the next level. Don’t be afraid or feel ashamed, it’s the most natural thing in the world for two humans who care for each other to do this to one another. However, just how many levels are there? If you’re a fan of retro sci-fi and your ears miss the synth stylings of a John Carpenter soundtrack, then you’ll enjoy this short sci-fi film that swaps showy CG visuals for old school special effects shot in low light, like split-screen, stop-motion, and miniature photography. So much better than some big budget Hollywood cash cows.
So JJ Abrams is due to direct the new Star Wars movies and he can hopefully redeem it from the horrific lows of the Jar-Jar Binks tainted prequels that left an ugly taste in everyone’s mouths. In this lens flare heavy fan-made trailer, the Star Wars trilogy (the original one) gets made over in the style of Star Trek into Darkness. And it don’t look half bad neither.
The Eureka Dunes in Death Valley National Park is home to some of the darkest skies on earth, so these guys trekked on out there to record the night sky, which just so happened to feature the Geminid Meteor Shower Peak to record this epic time-lapse footage with star trails streaking across the heavens.
Cyriak’s latest visual mindwash is for Bonobo‘s track “Cirrusâ€, featuring 1960s public information film footage that loops along with Bonobo’s sounds building into a surreal crescendo of cascading imagery that will fry your eyes. It’s enough to send anyone insane with delight with its surreal structures, Escherian visuals, and spiraling machinations built from elements of the video.

A bonafide classic of a movie, so if you’ve never seen Lynch’s magnum opus then scrap any plans you had for the day and watch this instead. Doesn’t matter than your boss wants that spreadsheet on his desk by noon, or that you have to speak to your kids in an hour, who you only get to speak to once a month. None of that matters, only Blue Velvet matters.
If two ten year olds snuck into the recording booth and started messing about behind the mics, it probably wouldn’t sound too dissimilar to Trey Parker and Matt Stone partaking in their professions and recording a segment of South Park. That booth must be the megalolz booth, you can imagine every time they record an episode something not unlike this takes place.
