David Weinstein’s 9 minute short film is a bit of a love-letter to the classic action-adventure and sci-fi movies that were released in the 1980s and 1990s, and if you were a fan of those movies then there’s plenty of references and influences to spot and keep and eye out for.

Art director Thomas Jullien decided to make a crowdsourced film using the seemingly endless supply of photos being uploaded to Instagram. The stop-motion short uses 852 pictures from 852 Instagram accounts to take viewers across the globe on bikes, planes, trains and automobiles set the tune of The Black Keys.
