Banks Benitez does the decent thing and celebrates awkwardness, something we all experience, perhaps even on a daily basis. It can strike at any time, from sharing a public restroom to the office, even an airplane. There’s just so many opportunities to be awkward that we need to start lapping it up instead of running from it. It’s the only way we’re defeat it.
Kevin Spacey gives a little nod to his role as Frank Underwood in House of Cards in this trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, as the utter contempt he shows as a vengeful congressman is used to great effect. Taking a glum view of democracy, he notes in the trailer how it has failed the free world in a dramatic speech that also notes how people don’t want freedom, just protection.
It’s an annual tradition at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner for the prez to slam the press, mock his rivals, himself, Donald Trump and anyone else he cares to. So you can imagine what a tough act to follow it must be to come after Obama making with the lolz while everyone laughs like putty in his hands. But Joel McHale stepped up to the gauntlet admirably.

Skateboarding may be thought of a young person’s sport, but that isn’t going to stop 60-year-old skateboarder Neal “The Dude” Unger from showing the youngsters how it’s done—in this short profile film Neal explains how he sees skating as a way to regulate body and mind, a kind of form of meditation.
Homophobia isn’t a modern problem, it goes all the way back to tribal times with the cavemen. In this satire a bunch of our ancestors fight against their gay instincts, declaring that when you do “samesies” no people can come out. And with the population dwindling it means that “samsies” can be no more.
So this guy’s buddy left his Midi Fighter 3D at his house, most people would probably be like, “I’ll just throw it in the cupboard and text him that I have it, he can come collect it while it gathers dust”. Not this guy, he uses it to create this awesome mashup, that just blows the water out of any sound you’ve ever heard, ever. Get this man an audience and a stage, stat!
Fail compilations are already pretty hilarious if you’re in the mood for some schadenfreude, but this adds something extra awesome into the mix, with some good old fashioned failing combined with some good old fashioned Jim Ross commentary.
Two songs you probably wouldn’t necessarily associate with one another, System of a Down’s “Chop Suey” and Elton John’s upbeat “Crocodile Rock”, get mashed up together for surprisingly listenable results. Mash-up artist Neil Cicierega is the man behind the mix, slowing down the pace of ‘Chop Suey’ to fit the more laidback vibe of ‘Crocodile Rock.’
All parents and soon-to-be parents are excited about announcing a pregnancy, but not every one of them sees fit to impart that knowledge with a terrible video set to Taylor Swift’s song “We Are Never, Ever Ever Getting Back Together”, with the lyrics changed to comply with their new baby news.
