Synesthesia is a condition where people can hear colors or taste sound or some other such weird sensory crossover. And animator Oscar López Rocha has attempted to recreate that in animated form in the video above. Whether it’s synesthesia or just a strange-looking bird flying about amongst disorientating images it’s hard to tell. Either way, it’s awesome.
This isn’t exactly a subtle way to convey the message about junk food, but hey, at least they’re trying. In a plot line that hammers the point quite explicitly, processed food is literally killing this little boy’s neighborhood. And to make it even more awesome, it has Stic.Man from rap duo Dead Prez in it.

Jerry Springer was possibly the greatest thing to ever happen to television. Metal band Nomessiah’s video for their track ‘Creeper’ shows a guy using his computer while the band sing (well, kinda sing/growl/murmur) about how we’re all being watched by the governments of the world as they virtually creep about monitoring all the cat videos and porn we’re watching. Yep, basically the ‘MAN’ is a pervy old stalker.
It’s high time to rewatch or watch for the first time the classic piece of anime that is Akira — never equaled it stands like a colossus over all the anime that has ever been and will ever be. From the mind of Katsuhiro Otomo it’s set in a dystopian Tokyo where teenage bikers roam the streets and telepathic children fight it out in hospital corridors.
If you’ve ever been to a pub in London in the day time, you’ll know it can be full of reprobates and eccentrics. This rotoscoped animation from Joseph Pierce casts a surreal eye over the inhabitants of a typical London drinking establishment, augmenting the live action with cartoonish and outlandish additions which unveil the character’s true natures.
How many hours and months of your life have you whiled away playing FPS over the years? Probably too many to want to recall, but those were good times spent taking down alien scum.or pretending you were James Bond. And here you can relive all of them as the graphical evolution of the FPS is traced from the nineties to the present. I hope they make a game of this video!?
Why can’t we all just get along? The dog has called a truce and makes sure his feline enemy is serving a useful purpose as they both try to retrieve something from the family bath, but you get the feeling that the dog knows that this will be a futile attempt….unless one of them, the one that hates water, goes the extra mile.
That Wassap! Budweiser thing looks like it’s never going to die quietly, just when you thought it’d had its last incarnation back in the early 00s it rears its head in animated form. But tbf to the animators of this piece, it’s actually very funny and if you had to sit through another Wassaaa! then this is it.
In what’s going to be the weirdest bunch of musical instruments you’ll see today, musician j.viewz plays Massive Attack’s track “Teardrop” using some fruit and veg. You’re not hallucinating and it’s not some kind of witchcraft, it’s made possible by a piece of tech called the MaKey MaKey.
This looks like a recipe to smash your face in two, but it also looks like insane fun if you can get the hang of it. You wouldn’t be as badass as these guys in the video, twisting in the air and diving into the sea like human dolphins, but it certainly beats reading a book on the beach.
