If you’re feeling a little down, you know, the world seems a little dark and you have the blues the last place you want to be is on a city’s metro system. It’s usually a place where people push and shove each other and barely acknowledge each other’s existence. But not this guy, he’s chosen to talk to the zombies in the New York subway and be all friendly and that. Why doesn’t he just fuck off and let us all wallow in our moodiness. Still. It’s kinda beautiful in it’s own way.
Without even watching this, you know it’s going to be better than the 2011 remake. So get settled as the next two minutes and 19 seconds are going to be a joy, especially if you’re a big fan of John Carpenter’s original movie. And let’s face it, everyone on earth is a fan. Even you.
It’s that time of year when we all go out and get drunk to celebrate the passing of time. No, not your birthday but New Year’s Eve, and to get you in the party spirit, why not pour yourself a glass of bourbon–doesn’t matter that it’s 10am and you’re at work–and put this on the loud speakers and crank it up to at least 11 and then stand on your desk and start throwing your hands in the air. Whoop.

If you’ve got zombies and guns in a movie, it doesn’t matter what the story is, it’s going to entertain most people. It could be a romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock as a single mom who has to write an email to her friend, but as long as zombies come in after a few minutes and Sandra Bullock whips out a magnum and starts blowing undead skulls to smithereens everyone’ll be lapping it up. Oh yeah, back to this…it’s pretty awesome!
It’s December and we all know what that means: ADULTCON. So off Joe valiantly goes to interview porn stars about what Santa got them, while they get out their enhanced funbags and talk about making money by making the beast with two backs with loads of different people. It’s enlightening stuff, like when he asks: “”Is it a hard industry to work your way up in?” and they reply “No, you just suck dick, it works out.” Interesting. Same could be said for every industry really.
Songs, they’re all just one big variation on the ‘one song that rules them all’, aren’t they? Who knows. But look how similar Coldplay’s “Fix You” sounds to Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away” and Black Eyed Peas’ “The Time” and a whole bunch of other songs when they’re all mixed together. It’s kinda seriously cool and bastard lame at the same time if you think about it. Merry fucking Christmas.
What a journey it’s been for this man, Jon Lajoie and his WTF Collective. From starting out as paupers on the streets of Dickensian London, growing up under Nazi Germany, then living through the great Lajoie purge of 1909, he’s now back with the third installment of his WTF Collective track. Talk about milking it.
