Jesse Morris – “Sunday Morning Coming Down”

This guy is full of talent, just brimming with the stuff, here he is, not just covering a Johnny Cash number, but moving and sounding exactly like him as well. It could almost be a punk version of Mr. Cash reincarnate? Which makes it all the more galling that he took his own life at [...]

Shake

Ordinary household pet dogs become hilarious distortions in this video showing wet dogs shaking themselves dry shot in slow-mo. It’s like they’ve just stepped out of a Looney Tunes cartoon as you get to see all the weirdness that happens which the human eye is too lame to notice, but in HD slow-mo it’s a [...]

Grandmas and Grandads Cover Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’

Mark Ronson’s and Bruno Mars’ song “Uptown Funk” is so whatever, there’s a much better version out there and it’s called “Oldtown Funk”—this version is performed by Alex Boye and some dancing, grooving grandmas and grandads, who can certainly deliver on the funk side of things.

Artist Creates Fictional Town Entirely From Miniatures

You’ve probably never heard of the town Elgin Park, and that’s because it isn’t a real town—instead it’s a creation by artist Michael Paul Smith, who composed it entirely of miniatures. It’s an idealised 1950s utopia which Smith created all himself using various materials.

JohnnyExpress: Animated Short That’s Worthy of Pixar

Kyungmin Woo’s hilarious short animation JohnnyExpress centers around a delivery man, the universe’s “greatest deliveryman”, who attempts to deliver something to a very small customer living on a tiny planet—the planet being so small means he can’t quite find the recipient, and as he searches in vain for them, plenty of cartoon chaos unfolds as [...]
