Well, this is awkward, but the guys on the panel should’ve expected nothing less when a bunch of kids are crammed into a convention hall and start asking dumb questions like how much RAM should they have to play the game. Sad times. Although games journalists probably wouldn’t fair much better. But the best thing about the entire sorry episode is the YouTube comments. Here’s a choice selection: “So much awkwardness I think I have cancer now”, “I’m not calling myself a gamer anymore”, “Longest 8 minutes of my life”, and the best one, “I think I’ve lost the ability to love”.

With the 86th Academy Awards looming on the awards season horizon, this neatly edited video by Nelson Carvaja takes a look back at the winners since the current incarnation of the award was introduced in 1977, with that year’s Oscar being awarded to a little film called Star Wars. Down the years it’s gone to some of the best sci-fi, comic and fantasy films Hollywood has ever produced.

Insane animator Cyriak is back with another surreal mindf#ck of a video this time involving mutating chimp creatures that evolve into multi-limbed, multi-head spouting monsters the likes of which you’ll hope to never see again. Although, that last statement isn’t strictly true, because as with all of Cyriak’s animations, as disturbing as they are you’re always compelled to want to see more.

The fine art of “sweding” sees the new Robocop trailer getting remade, or homemade, with expensive special effects being replaced by cardboard cutouts, some tin foil, and action figures—it almost makes up for the fact that Hollywood decided to remake the original into a really shitty piece of shit that no one wants to see. Now, if the entire movie was made like this trailer, then it might be worth watching.

Watching Star Wars Episode 1 is like a special kind of torture, but not when it’s turned into a parody where R2-D2 becomes a magic trash can and the Jedia visit Space Hooters for some downtime. It’s an infinitely better place than the actual movie and is the only way you can rewatch Lucas’ abysmal prequel without feeling your blood boil into hate-filled bile.

Some fine fashion photography going on in this video, it’s got great lighting, some incredible composition, the editing is exquisite, great choice of tunes, cool location and then, of course, there’s the subject matter, which is kind of integral to the whole piece—so enjoy it as a work of art, at least that’s what you call it when the boss catches you.

This couple seems remarkably calm after meeting Morpheus at a valet stand—you’d think if Morpheus showed up in your life then the game was up, and the next thing is you’d wake up on a levitating ship to find that the life you’ve been living is a lie. But that doesn’t seem to be the case here, instead Morpheus starts singing opera and everything goes crazy. Looks like someone took the money pill.
