Remember all those teenage hotshots back in the 90s breathlessly telling us that the Internet was going to usher in a new era in commerce, economic growth and intrapersonal communications – all this whilst we were still on 56kps dial up connections and the Internet basically couldn’t do shit? Well most of those fools are now flipping burgers in Palo Alto because they didn’t know jack. A new era of videos of cats flushing toilets is what the Internet was ushering in. Basically, the Internet was invented for this.
