The acceptable face of Hollywood geekhood and just two pretty cool guys in general take on two of the greatest film characters to ever grace that scene in Star Wars with C-3PO and R2-D2 crossing the Tatooine desert, while bitching and moaning at each other like a couple of bickering kids. But then, Nick Frost does mess up the R2-D2 noises, which is unacceptable really.
Time to get all ‘Hotel California’ and repeat the mantra, “You can check in, but you can never leave”, which is true in your case because you are running the place. Keep the demanding guests happy at ALL costs! It might sound like a pretty weird basis for a game but it is strangely addictive as your hotel fills up and your guests get evermore demanding (what do they need all those batteries for?) and angry – good luck!

An 8.9-magnitude Earthquake struck some 80 miles off the coast of Japan’s Miyagi Prefecture (230 miles northeast of Tokyo) around 2:45 PM local time. It is the most powerful earthquake to hit Japan in recorded history. Horrible.
Today marks the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, where the contributions of women to society are celebrated and remembered. Women have fought hard and won the right to vote, to come out of the kitchen and of course go to university. But as you’ll see in this information film from the 1900s, it turns them into “venomous harridans”. Let’s not let this abomination happen to another generation.

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of spending a Saturday morning listening to the idle chatter of Adam and Joe tickling your hungover funny bones, then you’ve probably just had the best threesome of your life Anyway, this is the first feature film from Joe Cornish, the one without the beard. Probably the only alien invasion movie where the aliens have seemed less horrifying that the humans. Looks pretty frickin’ super fly-tastic.
Much to admire in this video. Some kick ass beats courtesy of Stanton Warriors intercut with some different styles of dancing from ballet, breakdance and 70s hippy disco. All spliced up with some fancy editing techniques that synchronise well with the accompanying track. One to sit back and savour. Then maybe play again, treat yourself.
